The plot: After ending her relationship with Nicky Arnstein, Fanny Brice decides to move on. One day she meets Billy Rose who wants her for his new show; what starts as a work relationship soon becomes more than that and they end up in each others arms. Helped by Fanny, his new show is a success, but he isn’t a monogamous man and soon she finds all about it. But the show must go on and so must her life.
